People, Events & Fundraising (PEF)

The People, Events and Fundraising Team is responsible for all PTO fundraising programs and events, school enrichment programs and staff support functions.

PEF Responsibilities

  • Raise and manage funds for school programs through dues and fund raising events
  • Plan and coordinate events (e.g. School Carnival, Open House, K Information Night, Class Parties)
  • Recruit and manage volunteers and committees
  • Build sense of community
  • Communicate with families (Room Parent emails, volunteer wikis)
  • Participate in short and long term planning for the school
  • French Education Fund Committee (FEF)
  • Manage investment of the FEF in order to meet its financial obligations and responsibilities attendant to its status as a J‑1 Sponsor
